In 1670 the Herbin Sueur Company was born. Initially it made sealing wax. At the beginning of the seventeenth century, the similarity of the pigments between waxes and inks drove J. Herbin to make inks. Since 1987, J. Herbin has decided to redevelop ancestral products of the company. The main characteristic of these products is authenticity.


These beautiful writing inks are non-toxic and recommended for fountain pens as well as nibs and glass pens. Most colors are ph neutraland are available in either an elegant 30 ml bottle with an integrated pen rest on the top or in International "snap-in" ink cartridges. Cartridges come in attractive, round, brushed metal tins reminiscent of old film tins with the color indicated on the top. Each tin holds six cartridges
